Pot: 10 cm.
Also known as "Tom Thumb" and "Lemon Ball", it is a solitary globose cactus with well-defined ribs and a large multiplicity of spines. Its stem, dark green, shows a slight concavity at the apex, covered by a thick white down. The variegated shape of this cactus presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each exemplar will be absolutely unique and, for this reason, highly sought after by collectors. The central spines are thick and straight, of a color that can vary from white to brown, while the radial spines are thin and brownish-white in color. In summer you can admire its beautiful flowers of an intense yellow, enriched by pleasant pink shades: its petals have a silky-like shine!
