Pleasant cactus characterized by a globose stem, slightly depressed at the apex and tending to keep contained dimensions, sometimes turning at the base. The body, of a soft and opaque green, is equipped with conical tubercles deeply protruding, at the apex of which are showy roundish and whitish areoles. Its thorns are rather sparse and very short, thin and of a reddish tone that, with the growth of the plant, will tend to fade towards white. The variegated shape of this cactus presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each specimen will be absolutely unique!
