Among the most common cacti, Mammillaria usually has a spherical or cylindrical body and is characterized by the absence of ribs and by the arrangement of the flowers that surround the apex of the plant. The Pseudoalamensis variant is recognized for the absence of central spines and for its majestic flowers with orange stamens. The variegated version, which gives the plant unique color shades, makes it the object of desire for many collectors.
