Mammillaria papasquiarensis f. variegated (Variegated)

The variegated shape of this cactus has yellowish shades in the points where there is a lack of chlorophyll; these shades will never be the same in plants making each of them unique and for this reason strongly sought after by collectors. In its normal form it is a cactus with a globose stem of dark green color and equipped with triangular tubercles from which emerge its thorns that are always longer as you reach the apex of the plant. This cactus is very similar to the Mammillaria grusonii, from which it stands out thanks to its thorns that can change color depending on the age of the plant, in fact the younger specimens have brown, while in the more mature ones, these become silvery.During the flowering period, M. papasquiarensis gives beautiful bell-shaped flowers with delicate colors ranging from opaque white to pink, with visible veins of darker shades.
