Mammillaria magnimamma f. variegated (Variegated)

It is a pleasant cactus initially solitary, but that over time tends to tuft abundantly. The variegated shape of this cactus presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each exemplar will be absolutely unique and, for this reason, highly sought after by collectors. Its stem is equipped with numerous conical tubercles completely covered by a thick white lint, in the middle of which emerge long and slightly curved greyish spines. It blooms in mid-spring, crowning its apex with small cream-yellow flowers enriched with reddish streaks.
