Mammillaria eriacantha f. variegata (Variegated)

This species has several lighter shades where there is a lack of chlorophyll. These are cacti with a cylindrical and rather narrow stem, which can reach up to 50 centimeters in height while maintaining a diameter of a few centimeters. It has radial spines of bright yellow color, very short and thin, and two central spines slightly longer, flexible and of a beautiful golden hue. The small yellow flowers bloom in a corolla around the top of the plant. The name of the species derives from ancient Latin and literally means "woolly thorns", in reference to the fairly soft consistency of the small spines.
