Mammillaria cobrensis f. variegated (Variegated)

The variegated shape of this cactus has yellow areas in places where there is a lack of chlorophyll, such spots will never be identical in two or more plants, thus making each exemplar unique and for this reason very sought after by collectors around the world. In its normal form it is a globe-shaped cactus, with a green stem with prominent tubercles. From the white-yellowish and woolly areoles, radial and central spines emerge: the radials are white, thin and numerous; the central ones, on the contrary, are more robust, of dark brown colour and often single for each areola. The beautiful funnel-shaped flowers of M. cobrensis bloom at the apex of the plant with a greenish-yellow or pink color, enriched with central fuchsia veins.
