Mammillaria carnea f. variegata (Variegated)

Also known as "Pin-cushion cactus" and in nature can be found in tropical forests. It is a small cactaceae with a solitary habit, which tends to group together during the grow. The green stem has a variegation that makes each specimen unique in its kind. The spines are stiff and straight, star-shaped and reddish in color with black tips. Flowering is abundant and forms at the apex of the plant generating funnel-shaped pale pink flowers.
