Gymnocalycium damsii f. variegata (Variegated)

Small cactus with a globular shape, which tends to cluster at the base. It has well marked ribs, from wide to acute, and serrated protrusions. Its stem, from spherical-depressed to short cylindrical,is characterized by light and dark horizontal stripes. The colour of epidermis varies from light green to brownish-green, This Gymnocalycium damsii v. rotundulum presents a variegation that makes each specimen unique in its kind. Almost all year round it produces flowers , with colors ranging from pale pink to reddish purple.
