Gymnocalycium chacoense f. variegated (Variegated)

It is a small solitary cactus that brightens with time. It has a globose shape, with a slightly flattened apex, of a bright green color. The variegated shape of this cactus presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each exemplar will be absolutely unique! Gymnocalycium is equipped with well marked ribs from which emerge, from small white areolas, long and rigid spines of light yellow color that become gray when the plant reaches maturity. In spring, large funnel-shaped flowers of color ranging from white to light pink with extraordinary yellow-brown shades inside.
