Gasteria cv. Little Warty f. variegated (Variegated)

The variegated form of this plant presents the typical yellow zones in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent; such zones will never be identical from one plant to another, thus making each exemplar absolutely unique and, for this reason, very sought after by collectors. Beautiful cultivar that was created by David Cumming in Australia hybridizing two species, G. batesiana and G. 'Old Man Silver'. Succulent plant with rough and rigid lanceolate leaves of almost brilliant green colour, covered by irregular striations and paler spots. Like most of the Gasterie, also Little Warty is formed by two opposite leaves which grow more or less compact and, with the passage of time, tends to access at the base forming new small plants. With prolonged exposure to the sun it is likely to take on brown colors. It is a perfect plant to furnish your homes and your offices.
