Euphorbia submammillaris f. variegated (Variegated)

The variegated shape of this succulent has yellowish spots or shades of color in the exact points where there is lack of chlorophyll; these shades will never be identical in different plants making each of them unique and for this reason highly sought after by collectors. In the normal form it is a succulent that is presumed to be a hybrid of wild species of South Africa and can reach 20 cm in height. It has accestiti and fleshy stems, of pale green-green colour equipped with tuberculate ribs. Its lanceolate-shaped leaves are very small; they bloom at the apex of the new stems and tend to fall very early. Among the tubercles come out small 'thorns' that are thin lignified twigs up to 2 cm long. Its flower, the ciazio, blooms during the flowering period on top of the stems and is small red ( about 5mm in diameter).
