Echinopsis subdenudata f. variegated (Variegated)

It is a globular cactus with a solitary habit that, over time, tends to cluster. Its stem, of an opaque light green color, has unmistakable yellow spots in the points, where there is a lack of chlorophyll, which are never the same, always different for each specimen and which make every cactacea truly unique. Its many well-furrowed ribs are equipped with sparse whitish, slightly downy areoles. The spines are very short, of a brownish cream color, or often they are no spines at all. The flowering period is in spring-summer, when, on long stems generated by the areoles, its enormous nocturnal flowers of a more or less intense pink color, bloom.
