Agave 'Shaka Zulu' f. variegated (Variegated)

The variegated shape of this succulent has yellowish streaks or in any case lighter shades in the areas of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll. These streaks will always be different in different specimens thus making each of them unique and for this reason much sought after by collectors around the world. In the normal form, A. 'Shaka Zulu' has wide, lanceolate and fleshy leaves, of blue-green color, with well evident red edges covered by short and soft yellow spines, whilst on the tip of each leaf we note a long and rigid spine. The foliage is arranged in the typical rosette shape, which remains rather rigid and very wide, tending to create a wonderful scenic effect thanks to the leaves pointing at the vertices in all directions! Its name derives from the famous Zulu clan leader, Shaka, who had a cruel reputation for military strategy and war. It’s a fantastic plant, perfect for decorating gardens with its simple charm!
