This succulent of slow growth, produces wide lanceolate and fleshy leaves, of blue-green colour, with very evident red edges covered by short and soft yellow thorns, whilst on the tip of each leaf we note a long and rigid spine. The foliage is arranged in the typical rosette shape, which remains rather rigid and very large, tending to create a wonderful scenographic effect thanks to the leaves that point the vertices in all directions! Its name comes from the famous Zulu clan leader, Shaka, who had a cruel reputation for military strategy and the war that sparked. It’s a fantastic plant, perfect for decorating gardens with its simple charm!
