Agave scabra f. variegated (Variegated)

The variegated shape of this plant has streaks or yellowish shades due to the lack of chlorophyll; this characteristic makes the exemplar unique and very sought after by collectors. A. scabra f. variegated is a medium-large species, similar to the American Agave but more rigid and stylized. The name of the species indicates precisely its characteristic of being remarkably sharper than other specimens. It has remarkable rosettes formed by rigid long and rough leaves, with margins equipped with small and robust brown spines. After about 15/20 years, A. scabra during the summer period generates, on a long stem, numerous yellow flowers.
