Pot: 10 cm.
It is a rosette-shaped succulent plant, which can reach up to 60 cm in height and up to 90 cm in diameter. Generally it is solitary, but can also cluster at the base. It has lanceolate leaves up to 50 cm long, of light green color, streaked with wonderful variegations of a creamy yellow color. When exposed to the direct sun, this Agave tends to take on pink tones, which give the plant a truly spectacular appearance. The foliage has small soft teeth along the edges and a long and rigid blackish spine at the end. Mature specimens produce pale yellow inflorescences. Agave desmettiana is easy to grow, does not require any special care: it is ideal for those who do not have much time to devote to plants, but would like to give a touch of elegance to their gardens.
