Agave applanata cv. Cream Spike (Variegated)

A rare medium-sized succulent plant. It has large, spoon-shaped oblong leaves of a bluish green color, outlined by a cream-colored border (f. variegated) which makes it unique in its kind, for this reason it is very appreciated and sought after by succulent collectors. Its margins are outlined by small red spines in contrast to the apical ones which are longer and more rigid. It blooms only after 20 years, generating small yellow flowers on long peduncles.
