Agave americana f. aureo-marginata (Variegated)

It is a slow growing shrub succulent, which grows up to 2 m in height and about 2.5 m in diameter. It has a robust rosette, formed by long lanceolate leaves of a blue-greyish color, with creamy white edges. The margins of the foliage are indented, each leaf ends with a stiff dark brown spine. Flowering occurs in spring only on mature specimens (more than 10 years old), generating small yellow-green flowers that bloom on a long peduncle.
