Sansevieria cv. Horwood (Succulents)

Very original and extremely ornamental succulent, named after Frank Horwood. It is a plant not presented in nature but conceived in nursery starting from species not yet certain; it is believed, however, that it may have taken back the epidermis and the foliar margins from Sansevieria kirkii, while with regard to the shape there are clear similarities with Sansevieria elliptica. Without stem, this wonder is formed by broad rigid leaves, flat and strongly pointed, placed in a sometimes spiraled rosette. The epidermis of the upper surface is smooth and of a beautiful dark green enriched by whitish streaks and spots, while the lower surface is rough to the touch. To make further particular S. Horwood we think showy white margins, surrounded in turn by a red-brownish line that seems almost specially designed.
