Description:

Pseudolithos cubiformis is a small succulent plant, that can assume a cubic shape, when growing. The size and color of this plant vary a lot, according to temperature, humidity and light: from light green (in shady environments) to greenish gray (in half sun) or reddish-brown (in full sun). At the end of summer, it reaches the peak of its flowering, but it can bloom throughout the year, when the growing conditions are appropriate. Its flower is cluster-shaped with gray-green hairy petals, that in full bloom give off an unpleasant odor, attracting flies for pollination.

Plant care:

It likes very bright places, however, avoid direct sunlight during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water regularly but moderately in spring-summer, always making sure that the soil is always dry between one watering and another one. During the winter period, reduce watering to once every two months, avoiding stagnation of water.

A well-draining and porous soil is an optimal solution, even better if further enriched with 50% of inert materials such as pumice or lapilli.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
