Orbea macloughlinii (Succulents)

This succulent native to southern Africa has green fleshy stems with vertical ribs and serrated margins. This plant grows horizontally, covering large surfaces. The strong point of O. macloughlinii are certainly its extremely captivating-looking flowers: they have a star-like shape, are yellow in color with reddish spots and streaks and with a wrinkled surface. They have a characteristic odor of Orbees, unpleasant but very important in the pollination process to attract insects.
