Succulent characterized by slender stems that do not exceed a height of 10 cm, tending rather to gather in pleasant tufts of an intense greyish green, sometimes slightly mottled with violet. Each stem is adorned with bulging teeth even 1 cm long, pointed and soft, which are symmetrically dotted the entire length facing upwards. The real highlight of Orbea is undoubtedly the inflorescence: between late summer and early autumn between the stems bloom peculiar star-shaped flowers with extremely elongated tips, which take on a dark yellow hue often dotted with a strong burgundy that intensifies near the floral throat, for a very captivating final effect, impossible to miss!
