Lithops terricolor (Succulents)

View all Lithops

The "living stones" are the most fascinating plants in the world. This Lithops lives in the gravelly plains under small shrubs. Its name means "color of the earth". In nature it camouflages itself perfectly with the ground to defend itself from predators, thanks to its pale gray body with dark gray dots. In autumn, its diurnal flowers bloom, which are of a yellow color, sometimes with a white center.
