Haworthia retusa f. variegated (Succulents)

In nature it grows half-buried in the clay soil between the stones and under the bushes, out of the ground only the translucent leaf part with the clearest veins emerges. It is an original succulent that grows in a rosette, like a kind of star for its short foliage and gobble. The surface of the fleshy and smooth leaves is bright green, pleasantly mottled by almost transparent longitudinal streaks. H. retusa in its leaves stores water to survive during periods of drought. With prolonged exposure to the sun, like all specimens of the genus Haworthia, it risks taking on brown colors. In this peculiar exemplar, the variegated form of the succulent presents the typical paler areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each of them will be absolutely unique!
