It is a perennial succulent cultivar, it was introduced for the first time around 1750. It is particularly appreciated by green collectors for the unmistakable beauty of its dark green, erect and lanceolate leaves, with characteristic embossed, white points on both sides. Flowering appears on long stems, blooming with small tubular-shaped flowers.
