The Haworthia coarctata grows forming dense clusters, composed of stems covered with leaves that give shape to small columns of rosettes. The fleshy, triangular, pointed and slightly curved leaves are of a dark green color, covered by very small greenish-white tubercles arranged in an irregular way, of a variable density in different specimens. The leaves, when exposed to the sun, tend to turn brown. The white flowers, of a tubular shape, bloom in early spring.
