Echeveria 'Swan lake' (Succulents)

Wonderful succulent not present in nature, but obtained in the nursery from the crossing between E. runyonii 'Topsy Turvy' and E. shaviana, to obtain an absolutely innovative exemplar and able to seize the best of both parents. Arranged in a rather compact and medium-large rosette, E. 'Swan lake' has leaves curved upwards and almost curled towards the center of the rosette, slightly keeled along the lower surface; the shape so unusual recalls the neck of a swan, from which the name of the species derives. It is a form very similar to Echeveria 'Topsy turvy', from which it differs for the colouration of the epidermis that, like the Shavian species, takes on pleasant glacial shades, of a bluish-grey that, when exposed to the sun, is tinged with wonderful purple-pink shades. Overall this succulent is absolutely unique, a perfect combination of originality and elegance enriched by a touch of vivacity thanks to the beautiful tubular flowers on the notes of pink-orange.
