Echeveria 'Marjorie Pogue' (Succulents)

Wonderful succulent, extremely original, whose name was chosen by its creator Harry Butterfield in honor of his daughter Marjorie Butterlfield Pogue. It is a plant not present in nature, but generated in nursery by the crossing of two different specimens to obtain a new species absolutely unique and that will certainly not go unnoticed. From the typical disposition of a rather ample solitary rosette, reaching even 30 cm of diameter, it has flat leaves tending to widen at the apex, where they end in a roundish shape enriched by strongly curled margins, almost ruffled. Along the foliar surface the design of the margins is taken up by small tufts of artichoke that give an extra touch to the wavy pattern of the foliage. The epidermis assumes a soft and delicate bluish-glaucous tone, made opaque by a sort of whitish bloom that protects the plant from atmospheric agents and further enriched by elegant pink shades along the edges, which tend to become more pronounced when abundantly exposed to sunlight.
