Dudleya pachyphytum (Succulents)

It is a rare and particular succulent plant, very different from other Dudleyas for its very fleshy and short leaves. In nature it grows on the Cedros Island in Mexico and lives up to 100 years, in fact it is also called 'Cedros island liveforever'. D. pachyphytum grows in the shape of a small rosette and branches out at the base over time. Its thick leaves are oval, rounded on the edges and covered with a white powder (pruinescence) that protects the plant from harmful UV rays. In summer its beautiful whitish green flowers bloom.
