It is a low growing annual or biennial succulent that does not exceed 3 cm in height. It has a monocarpic rosette, usually solitary, which over time can cluster. The leaves, ranging in color from bright green to greyish-green, are up to 5 cm long and up to 4 cm wide. The peculiarity of this plant are the margins, densely covered with long whitish hairs, which give the plant a soft appearance. In spring, the plant generates white or pinkish inflorescences. After flowering the rosette dies, but usually first produces basal rosettes to continue its life cycle. Crassula barbata is a very ornamental succulent, perfect for adorning the windowsills of your apartments.
