Caralluma sublutea (Succulents)

Beautiful succulent, whose name refers to evident similarities with C. lutea, from which, however, it differs due to the ribs from the closest and less prominent teeth. It has columnar stems which do not exceed the 10-15 cm of height and at times tend to branch, mainly at the base; they are equipped with 4 flat ribs and enriched by soft indentations pointing upwards. The epidermis takes on an intense emerald green hue, pleasantly tinged with violet when the plant is abundantly exposed to sunlight. At the end of summer, like all Apocynaceae, Caralluma sublutea will amaze you with its splendid 5-pointed flowers, with intense shades and velvety texture.
