Caralluma stalagmifera (Succulents)

C. stalagmifera also called 'Dark purple caralluma' is a succulent native to India that grows to a length of 40 cm. It has erect fleshy stems equipped with 4 tuberculate and protruding ribs; the epidermis is opaque light green with brownish edges. It is much appreciated for its star-shaped inflorescences that are dark purple (hence the name) and that bloom during the December-June period.
