One of the most well-known and widespread succulent plants for its multiple properties, it consists of a central stem that tends to lignify and branch off abundantly. In the wild this plant reaches even 4 meters in height, assuming the shape of a very large bush made up of long bright green leaves, with indentations along the edges, pointed and arched downwards. In the wild the leaves reach over 50 cm in lenght, however the size depends very much on the environment in which it lives and, above all, on the amount of light it can receive. During the flowering period long stems are generated, at the top of which bunches of graceful red flowers bloom. The main reason why Aloe arborescens is so famous lies in its many beneficial properties: the juice contained within the leaves contains over 20 aminoacids among those necessary for humans, as well as multiple vitamins in large quantities and, last but not least, substances with anti-inflammatory and analgesic power. Precisely because of its properties, Aloe arborescens is now used daily for ointments useful to soothe any skin problem, but also to create supplements capable of regenerating damaged tissues, eliminating toxins, stimulating the metabolism and even the immune system: a real panacea, both for our health and to make our environments more pleasant!
