It is an evergreen dwarf succulent that grows in the shape of a solitary rosette, but over time it can cluster as well. It maintains small dimensions, in fact this Agave does not exceed 30 cm in height. It has fleshy leaves of a glaucous green or bluish-green color, in the variegated form also embellished by the edges of a tender creamy yellow color. The margins are covered with brownish teeth, at the apex of each leaf there is a robust and rigid brownish-red spine. Agave pygmaea f. variegated is ideal for decorating rock gardens or for adding a touch of extravagance to your windowsills.
