A medium-sized succulent plant, which over time tends to cluster at the base. It has large fleshy leaves, obovate, of a bluish gray color, with particular signs, due to the pressure of the overlying leaves. Its margins are outlined by small and robust reddish spines and terminate, at the apex, with a long sturdy spine of a brownish-black color.
