It is a very variable succulent, much loved by plant collectors for its perfect symmetry and the changing colors of its foliage. It has a rosette, which sometimes even reaches considerable diameters, consisting of leaves, ranging in color from light green to glaucous greyish green, streaked with wonderful white or yellow variegations, which make each specimen unique, always different from others. The leaves are slightly fleshy and very rigid, oblong and ending in sharp brown tips, surrounded by slight dark and hard indentations. The Agave potatorum var. isthmensis 'Striata' is an ideal plant to adorn any type of environment.
