One of the agaves most sought after and appreciated by green collectors and succulent lovers for its beautiful sculpted and elegant lines that make it suitable for any type of decor. Its leaves are stiff and lanceolate, of a brilliant blue-gray color, with the edges well marked by a thin purplish black line, ending with a dark, long and rigid spine. This rather slow-growing succulent has a rough and leathery skin, hence its nickname of "Sharkskin Agave". One of its strengths is its resistance to cold, which makes it easy to grow even for beginners. Flowering occurs only on mature specimens (after 15 years) in a spectacular way, blooming with yellow flowers on a large central stem which is up to 4 meters high.
