Beautiful succulent, considered one of the largest and most imposing of the genus, consisting of a typical rosette arrangement facing upwards and the foliage tending to sag with growth outwards, up to occupy in nature a diameter of almost 4 meters! Its leaves are very long, slightly concave, sometimes dotted along the margins by sparse brownish teeth and ending at the apex in a sting even 8 cm long and very pointed, so much to give the species the name of fierce. The epidermis takes on delicate glaucous tones, of a soft and opaque pastel green that goes perfectly with the light yellow of the inflorescences: only when the succulent will have reached maturity, from the center of the rosette its pretty flowers will grow along spikes over 8 meters high!
