Description:

Probably considered a hybrid obtained from Aeonium davidbramwellii, it is an extremely showy succulent characterized by the typical shape of a rosette flattened on the surface and by its rather small size. Its ovoid leaves, pleasantly pointed at the apex, take on a lively shiny emerald green hue, adorned with a central longitudinal band of a delicate creamy yellow that continues in marked streaks along the same direction. This spontaneous and typical variegation of the entire species gives the succulent the name "lemon-lime" in reference to the color of the bands, but also "starburst", that literally means "explosion of stars", due to the spectacular appearance that the rosette takes on from above. When abundantly exposed to sunlight, A. 'Lemon lime' dyes its margins with a fine reddish line in strong chromatic contrast with the rest of the epidermis which, probably also for this reason, makes the overall appearance of the species decidedly out of the ordinary!

Plant care:

It requires a lot of light all year long, however avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures or over, but never below 5 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. Do so once every two weeks in spring and summer, reduce it to once every two months in autumn and winter.

A well-draining soil is an optimal solution, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice, sand or lapilli.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
