Adromischus umbraticola (Succulents)

The name of the genus Adromischus means "abundant stem" and comes from the Greek words "adros" (abundant) and "mischòis" (stem). It is a small succulent with a relatively slow growth, with a tuberous base where it stores water to survive during drought periods. A plant with short and erect branches from which green and thick linear-oblanceolate leaves grow, characterized by reddish orange margins, which make it very appreciated among collectors of this genus. On long peduncles, it blooms with small white flowers with a red throat. This succulent plant vegetates in autumn and is very susceptible to rotting throughout the year.
