Slow-growing caudiciform succulent, which over time develops a massive woody base, to the point of making it seem a miniature palm tree. Its thin and long green-gray leaves, with serrated edges, form a large spherical crown that over time can exceed one meter in diameter. In old age, they produce very showy inflorescences on long stems. This plant is extremely popular for its versatility: very elegant when placed inside homes, but at the same time resistant to low temperatures, therefore also ideal for adorning your rock gardens.

Plant care:
It requires an exposure to full sun. However, it can be placed in a partially shaded area only if it still receives a lot of light throughout the year.
It prefers rather mild temperatures, however it still survives even at temperatures close to freezing if the soil is dry.
Water moderately and only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water it once a week in spring and summer, reduce it to once every two months in autumn and to suspend it completely in winter.
