Notocactus werdermannianus f. mostruosa crestata (Monstrous)

Magnificent exemplar of cactus with a particular look, sought after by collectors for its monstrous forms, very unusual; as well as for its crest, which makes it unique. Its pale green stem has irregular ribs and white and woolly areoles. The thorns are very sharp, flexible and vary in colour from white to yellow to red. It generates small pale yellow flowers. One of its characteristics is that the body of the plant "splits", but this cannot be defined as a defect, as it allows the plant to form these original, unique and particular forms.
