M . kraehenbuehlii is, in its normal form, a small globose cactaceae that with the passage of time tufts. Its green stem is equipped with numerous cone-shaped tubercles where at the apex are formed white and fluffy areoles. the thorns are long and thin white in color that wrap around the entire stem. Its beautiful pink-lilac flowers have a funnel shape.
