Mammillaria haageana f. monstrous (Monstrous)

The monstrous shape of this cactus presents geometric anomalies, for example asymmetrical protuberances or absence of spines, different for each individual exemplar so much so as to make each of them absolutely unique and for this extremely sought after by collectors. It is a small cactus with a usually solitary posture which, with the passage of time, can tuft. Its green stem is completely surrounded by small white thorns. From the numerous candid areoles come out rigid and straight red-black thorns, which converge upwards. It blooms from February to April generating small funnel-sha ped flowers in pink and magenta colors.
