Mammillaria gracilis f. monstrous crested is a very particular cultivar and sought after by collectors, which has strange forms (for this the name of 'monstrous'), atypical for the normal form. In addition to this, it also has the fan shape of its crest, which makes it unique. In the classic form it is a small cactus with agglomerated stems that give the plant a compact arrangement. The dark green color of its stem contrasts with the white of its areoles, from which thick straight and white spines sprout. In the period of flowering, in spring/summer, it generates beautiful cream white flowers.
