Art. 24903
It is a rare cactus of a monstrous shape, that makes each specimen unique and therefore highly sought after by green collectors. It differs from Mammillaria elongata by its almost total lack of spines, which grow sparsely and only at the base of the stems. Its stems, elongated and cylindrical, have flat and irregularly shaped tubercles, arranged in a spiral. In spring, it blooms with small pinkish-white or yellow flowers.
