The Sansevieria bacularis 'Mikado' is an exotic plant, more commonly known as “mother-in-law's tongue”. It is an evergreen perennial plant with elongated, pointed, cylindrical leaves. It has a green color with lighter horizontal streaks. Due to its stylish shape, it can be easily placed in environments with minimalist architecture and furnishing. Generally it blooms in spring, though not every year. Its small flowers are white with intensely scented purple stripes.
