It is a cactus that can be very varied both for the length of the thorns and for the shape of the body because of its vast geographical area of origin and the consequent adaptation to the conditions of the specific place. The colors of the spines can be white, yellow or reddish-black, generally thin. The crested shape of the cactus presents the typical fan-shaped arrangement that makes each exemplar absolutely unique, never identical to another and for this reason so much appreciated by collectors!
