Sulcorebutia hertusii f. crested (Crested)

Cactus plant very loved by collectors for its crest that makes it a unique exemplar of its kind and for this reason much sought after by collectors all over the world. In its normal form, s.hertusii is a plant that easily diversifies from other varieties of the same family for its thorns: these are white, long, hairy, flexible so much that they often form a twisted tangle that almost hides the entire cactus. The inflorescences are funnel-shaped and have a characteristic intense magenta color.
